So, I have finally acquired a bookshelf for my books! We recently moved to a new apartment where I can start growing my collection again. These are all the books that i own in this apartment. I have twice as many in the attic of my parents house. They will join me when I buy a house.
To celebrate this wondrous occasion, I am giving you all a tour of how my bookshelf was organized. But, because of the new poppy I have had to clear out the bottom shelves.
We will start with my top shelf. This one I have dedicated to my To Be Read novels. This makes it a lot easier to see. I recently grouped up all of the white spines to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
The next shelf is my favorites shelf. Pretty self explanatory but the Select series is just there because it’s a series. A lot of the books I own are oneshots or I have yet to get ahold of the next book. I also have yet to read Crown of Feathers but I just love the cover so it is a placeholder for now. I also have an adorable mint candle holder.
The next three shelves are simple my books sorted by color and size. I have a lot of room for now so I wanted to make the pretty covers stand out. I went with a Barnes and Noble (or Borders RIP) look.
The last shelf are my Children’s books. Ones that I read as a child and wanted for my own in the future or those obtained at a convention. I also had my purple manatee boba plushie and a photobook of me and my husband.
And, that’s my current collection! Finally on display right in my living room. It is the first thing you see when walking into my apartment and I could not be happier. I feel the organization could be redone but I’m at a loss with ideas.
How do you organize your bookshelves?
